Hey all. I'm back. I've just been so busy with job stuff and other stuff lately I haven't been around much. This is Troy use to be t-roy/sullidog. Sparkie is a nickname at work. I don't know how I got it but that's what they call me.:)

Jones was aware of the losses elsewhere in the league, since they happened before their game was over. Still, it wasn't just the situation on the scoreboard, but the situation in the field.
The Tigers held a 7-0 lead at the game's midway point following a five-run fifth that included a two-run double from Ramon Santiago, his third extra-base hit of the game. They took a 7-2 lead into the seventh with Fernando Rodney, Joel Zumaya and Jones lined up to finish it off.
For a team that has been short-handed almost all season in one way or another, this was its best in the situations it thrived in. Seemingly everything was going right for it on Sunday. It still didn't work" (1a)

To the last post, that's interesting. Troy, I'm not sure how this started, but I knew a guy who was a dog guide user, and he regularly called his cane Sparky. I wonder if that has anything to do with it?
